Don’t get caught worrying about being pregnant before you are sure. At New Beginnings we offer free professional grade pregnancy tests, limited obstetrical ultrasounds and pregnancy options counseling for everyone without regard to age, race, income, nationality, religious affiliation, disability or other arbitrary circumstances.
How Does a Pregnancy Test Work?
The pregnancy tests at New Beginnings are capable of detecting HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) — the hormone released during pregnancy — as early as seven days following conceptions and/or 21 to 24 days after your most recent period began. All tests are administered in our center, and results will be confidentially discussed with you immediately following completion of the test.
A missed period is the most common indication, but it doesn’t necessarily mean you are pregnant. Come see us today and find out for sure.
Common pregnancy symptoms include:
- Late period
- Tender or swollen breasts
- Frequent urination
- Nausea or vomiting
- Lightheadedness or fainting
- Food cravings or aversions
- Darkening of the nipples
If you are experiencing any of the symptoms above and suspect you may be pregnant, please contact us to arrange your free pregnancy test.
If you do turn out to be pregnant, it is important to determine a plan of action for what to do next. However, it can understandably be difficult to think about next steps immediately after finding out you are pregnant. In that event, you should know that your relationship with New Beginnings does not necessarily end with the completion of your pregnancy test. We provide guidance for every step in your pregnancy, regardless of which options you are considering.
